Crawlspace would flood with a high humidity level. 

We added a drainage system to control the water with a sump pump and a battery backup pump. 

After the drainage system was added, we did a vapour barrier system and insulation to control the humidity level.

When a homeowner noticed a musty smell and excess moisture in their crawl space, they knew it was time for a solution. Worried about potential mould and damage, they reached out to us for help. We installed a dehumidifier to keep humidity in check and treated the wood surfaces with a mould prevention solution. To ensure proper drainage, we added a condensate pump. For better insulation and energy efficiency, we installed moisture resistant foam board. Finally, we encapsulated the space with a durable vapor barrier and drainage matting to lock out moisture for good. Now, their crawl space is dry, fresh, and protected, giving them peace of mind and a healthier home.

-A cleanspace vapor Barrier was installed to help with the musty smell and to help control a highly humid crawlspace 

-A drain Mat was installed to help protect the vapor barrier, which will also allow water to pass under de liner 

-A dehumidifier was installed to help control air quality and humidity

Installation of our Smart Sump Pump System with Cleanspace and R13 Rigid Board Insulation,

Addressing the rotten structure required replacing all damaged wood and redirecting the rain leader away from the house, as it was the main cause of the damage. Additionally, we replaced the old, malodorous fiberglass insulation with new silver airboard insulation.
