This project involved a full cleaning and insulation upgrade in the crawl space to create a healthier and more energy-efficient environment. The team started by applying a mould control treatment to all wooden and organic surfaces to eliminate any potential growth and ensure a clean foundation. Old insulation materials were removed and properly disposed of, followed by a detailed cleaning, including wiping down heating ducts, clearing debris, and vacuuming the crawl space floor for a fresh finish.
New insulated panels were then installed along the rim joist and wood-framed walls, with all seams carefully sealed using spray foam for an airtight fit. The sill plate was also sealed to the foundation wall to prevent air leaks and help keep out insects. This process left the crawl space cleaner, better protected, and more efficient overall.
For this project, we completed a full upgrade to protect the crawl space from water, moisture, and mould, while improving energy efficiency. We began by installing a powerful sump pump system to handle any water buildup and keep the area dry. Next, we sealed the crawl space with a durable liner and drainage matting to block ground moisture and create a clean, usable space.
To ensure long-term protection, we treated all wooden surfaces to prevent mould growth. We then installed high-efficiency insulation on the crawl space walls and rim joists, sealing all gaps to improve comfort and reduce energy loss. These improvements work together to create a healthier, safer, and more energy-efficient home.
For this project, we focused on creating a cleaner, healthier, and more comfortable crawl space. We fully sealed the area to block out moisture and protect against future water seepage. The floor was prepared with a durable barrier that not only prevents dampness but also makes the space easier to use for storage.
We repaired a small opening in the concrete before sealing everything in, ensuring a smooth and solid foundation. To keep the air fresh and dry, we installed a dehumidifier system with its own drainage setup, helping to control humidity year-round.
All wood and organic surfaces were treated to stop mould growth, and the rim joists were insulated and sealed to improve energy efficiency while keeping outside air from leaking in.
Overall, the work gives the crawl space lasting protection, cleaner air, and a more usable environment for the home.
We completed a full crawl space repair to address moisture, drainage, and structural concerns. A sump pump system with a battery backup was installed to manage groundwater and prevent flooding, even during power outages. The entire space was encapsulated and sealed with drainage matting to protect against seepage and improve durability. We removed debris and old insulation and treated all surfaces for mold. A dehumidifier was installed to control humidity, and new moisture-resistant insulation was added to boost energy efficiency. Structurally, we stabilized floor joists with a steel jack system and replaced a 10-foot section of rotten sill plate and rim joist, supporting the area with a steel I-beam and new framing. We also redirected exterior water flow to a catch basin to keep the area dry. The result is a clean, dry, and stable space ready to protect the home for years.
This project focused on rebuilding and improving the drainage of an existing window well. The team started by removing and disposing of the old materials, then cleared out excess soil and debris to create six inches of proper clearance beneath the window. A clean layer of stone was added to promote better water drainage and stability.
A new window well was constructed using treated lumber for long-lasting protection. To further prevent moisture buildup, a drainage mat was installed along the exterior and finished neatly with a mould strip at the top edge. The area was then backfilled with soil and completed with a custom-made aluminum grill, providing a durable, clean, and secure finish.
