Clean space encapsulation-Langley

-A cleanspace vapor Barrier was installed to help with the musty smell and to help control a highly humid crawlspace

-A drain Mat was installed to help protect the vapor barrier, which will also allow water to pass under de liner

-A dehumidifier was installed to help control air quality and humidity

From Damp to Dry: Full Crawl Space Protection and Crack Repair

We encapsulated the crawl space by sealing it at all interior footings, piers, and along the top edge of the foundation walls to prevent moisture intrusion. A drainage mat was installed beneath the liner and extended 6 inches up the walls to help manage ground seepage and add durability to the surface. We repaired a foundation crack by injecting it with polyurethane resin under high pressure and reinforcing the area with a structural weave, providing a flexible and long-lasting seal. We installed a dehumidifier and air purifier system to maintain healthy humidity levels.

Taking Control of Crawl Space Humidity in Langley

This project focused on creating a cleaner and drier crawl space by improving humidity control and overall air quality.

We started by cleaning the area, wiping down heating ducts and sewer lines, removing spider webs, and clearing loose debris from the floor.

A dehumidifier was then installed on a dedicated stand to continuously monitor and reduce excess humidity. A condensate pump was also added to automatically remove the water collected by the dehumidifier, helping the system run efficiently without water building up in the space.

The result is a cleaner, drier crawl space with better humidity control, helping reduce the conditions that can lead to musty odours and moisture-related problems.

A Fresh Start for Better Window Well Drainage in Langley

This project focused on replacing an aging window well and improving drainage around the foundation. The old materials were removed, excess soil and debris were cleared away, and clean stone was added beneath the window to help water drain properly.

A new window well was built from treated lumber, with a drainage layer installed along the exterior to direct water away from the foundation. The area was then neatly finished and backfilled with the existing soil.

The result is a stronger, cleaner window well with improved drainage and better protection against water buildup around the home.

Crawl Space Encapsulation, Structural Adjustment, and Foundation Repair in Langley

This project focused on sealing, stabilizing, and improving the overall condition of the crawl space. The work began by regrading the soil, smoothing the surface, removing large rocks, and filling in gaps around the main sewer outlet to create a clean and even base.

A full crawl space encapsulation system was installed and carefully sealed around footings, piers, and along the foundation walls to keep moisture out. During the installation, the existing adjustable support jacks were temporarily removed so the liner could be properly placed. Once complete, the jacks were reinstalled on top of the liner and tightened to stabilize the support beam. The bottoms of the piers were also wrapped for added protection.

A drainage layer was added beneath the liner and extended up the walls to help manage ground moisture and improve durability. The foundation walls were then insulated, with all seams sealed to reduce drafts and prevent moisture intrusion.

To finish the project, a foundation crack was repaired using a flexible injection to stop water entry, followed by a carbon fiber reinforcement to strengthen the wall.

These improvements resulted in a cleaner, drier, and more stable crawl space built for long-term protection and peace of mind.
